This park has many options to enjoy. I always see people getting professional pictures taken. There are plenty of picnic tables to enjoy sitting outdoors and having a lunch by yourself or with friends and family, you can walk off your meal through the trails they have or toss your kayak/ canoe or whatever boat you float right on the water for a nice picturesque paddle. You can throw around a ball or play frisbee. The bathrooms are clean as is the grounds. I also would love to share a fun hobby of mine that you can tryout right here at this park. Its called letterboxing, its like geocaching but you use stamps. I love love love that this is a free way to entertain your littles and bigs also. You can find out more information about letterboxing at atlasquest.com. My family is the boxstealers, you can look us up and see the journeys we have been on. I truly hope anyone reading this gives it a whirl if you like adventures. There are some fun stamps planted in this park. I haven't had the chance to get out there and find them, but I plan on it. Most importantly enjoy the people you love doing the things that bring you joy...this is a no brainer for me. Afterall,...
Read moreHad no idea how close this was to us. We went on a weekday before dusk and just went to check it out. Highly recommend this park for people of all ages and all walks of life. There are so many things to explore. There's a lake, and 🚲 courses to show off ur mad skill, and a skate course for those skateboarders out there. Bicycle course offers three levels of difficulty which means no matter if level you will have a great adventure. The portion of the park I walked in was very clean. There were families, teens, and couples, as well as the group of kids (riding my bike was one of my favorite past times as a kid) there was beautiful landscaping and lots of trees which was nice cause we found a really sweet off to the side spot that had a table and shade from trees. We weren't right on the water but it was spitting distance. We watched 2 buds canoe in the lake and they came out to the left of us. Everyone was doing their thing and loving life. I've been back twice since to sit and Sun soak, and one time to get some...
Read moreNice park with a beautiful lake for fishing. Webpage online says it's open 24 hours and there were no gates closed but at 1:30 or so I was awakened by a local policeman who asked if the motorcycle in the parking lot belonged to me. I replied yes and offered that I was passing through and needed to get some work done in the morning and he advised me the park closes from 2-4 am before telling me I could go back to sleep and left without asking for my ID or even running my name. Park had plenty of convenient parking. It was clean, dog friendly and well lit at night. The restroom was clean but old and rundown. There were plenty of shade trees and picnic tables scattered around but I was very disappointed that I couldn't find a single grill to cook the burgers I brought along. I only gave 3 stars because I couldn't find a grill, the bathrooms were kinda dumpy and incorrect hours were...
