I am 42 and moved to Seattle when I was 3 years old I've known Shoreline Stadium nearly all my life. It's always been open to the public and clean, usually empty (c'mon shoreline exercise!) I love it. You can run the track or go to the stands and run the stairs, they're tall enough to make it worth your time for moderate to beginners. It's also in a very safe part of town. You may have to watch out for people asking you to sign for this or that initiative or listen to someone virtue signal but you won't lose your life, although after seeing the prices at the local grocery store you may want to take it yourself.

My son paticipated in the Special Olympic of Washington. The event took place in the Shoreline Stadium. The facility has a fairly good size covered seating area for spectators. There was a small snack store, men and women restrooms. Parking space was tight. The location is relatively close to the I-5 freeway.

Comfortable venue and a great place for Friday Night Lights. School section was just brimming with enthusiasm and the marching band put on a great halftime show with flags and cheer. They have a good selection of food and drink at concession stand and the stadium seating is covered in case it gets rain!

Food at the concession stands waa pretty gross. We got 2 slices of pizza, popcorn and cotton candy. The pepperoni slice was under cooked and the cheese was extra toasty. The popcorn was unsalted. Cotton candy have un disolved sugar in it. Has potential of being good but they have highschool kids cooking the food with what looks like little guidance as far as how to prepare each item and by my guess none have food handlers. Also the back counter was a mess. Other then that the stadium is nice and clean. They have cool score board, nice field and great...

I've been running on tracks around Edmonds, but they're all packed dirt tracks, and are muddy and uneven, without lane markings or any indication of distance. Visiting the Shoreline track today was a real treat! Though busy and active (especially for mid-day on a weekday), users were all respectful of one another and giving adequate space, and masking when passing. Nice...
