This is our second time going to the winery on a nice fall day (Saturday) and we really like the wine and atmosphere. Making a reservation was really easy and they quickly respond to all texts.
I will say that this time around the women that brought us our food was very unfriendly. She brought our food over and didn't provide any plates or napkins and when I asked for them, it seemed like I was bothering her. I also stood up for a brief second at our table and she legit yelled across the seating area at me that I had to put my mask on when standing up. I was embarrassed because everyone stared at me like I had a plaque or something. She could've of simply come to the table and very politely provided clarity on when masks are needed. Towards the end of our reservation, she came to the table and said (again in an unfriendly manner) you have ten minutes left and made us feel rushed and not welcome anymore. I get it, during these times reservations are booked back to back. Being courteous and friendly towards customers is key to keeping a business with a great reputation and making customers want to return.
I remember this same lady the first time we visited the winery and she was really nice. I'm hoping she was just having a bad day because it did not provide us with a good experience. Again, we really like the winery and the wine but I hope that our next visit will be a better experience that it...
Read moreBroken Creek Vineyard and Winery is a delightful destination for anyone looking to indulge in some holiday cheer with family and friends. My recent visit to their holiday event was a truly charming experience. The vineyard hosted an array of holiday vendors in their function hall, offering a unique shopping experience that was both festive and enjoyable.
The outdoor setting of the vineyard added to the holiday spirit, with cozy fire pits set up where we relished some holiday spirits and indulged in roasting s’mores. This created a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a winter outing.
In the summer months, Broken Creek transforms into an idyllic spot for a more laid-back experience. It’s a great place to enjoy some takeout on their deck or at one of the tables scattered throughout the vineyard, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature.
What makes Broken Creek Vineyard and Winery stand out is its versatility as a year-round gathering spot. Whether it’s for a summer picnic amidst the vines or a festive winter get-together by the fire, it caters to all seasons and reasons. It’s an ideal location for both family outings and catching up with friends, offering a relaxing escape from the everyday hustle. Highly recommended for those looking for a picturesque and enjoyable...
Read moreFirst time coming to this winery, I was very hopeful to try some different wines of all the wines I tried. rielsling. unoaked Chardonnay. Viognier. Pinot noir. I like the Pinot Noir, the best which surprised me because I tend to prefer white over red I did not try the blush which I’m sorry I didn’t because I do like a blushv. I’m going to purchase a bottle of it. The environment is beautiful Very relaxing very peaceful Very nice people . I was on my way home from hiking. when I decided to try this winery. I’m glad I did. I was hoping they would have the Pinot Gris because that’s when I was anxious to try, but it was not available today. Unfortunately,. I recommend people coming here to trial, their wines, even just to enjoy the yard. Several tables with umbrellas are set up outside. There’s an indoor porch area to enjoy the outdoors without having the sun beat down plus there’s plenty of tables inside as well. I definitely recommend this winery for first timers. You just may...
