Lake Wyola State Park — Attraction in Shutesbury

Nice spot. We went to the recreation area and beach. Nice clean facilities, bathroom available. Lifeguard present. We visited and then held a birthday party there a week later. No pavilion available, so we had to bring our own awnings, but that was fine. Several picnic tables and a few grills installed. No floatation toys allowed except for lifevests, which was a little disappointing for the kids. Volleyball court and fishing available. It's a bit of a small area, but nice. No cell service, they don't take credit cards or checks, CASH ONLY!! Can be very, very CROWDED ALL SUMMER!! Like no more parking for several hours, 4plus hours. And there's no where else to go out here. So I wouldn't come here without a back up plan, cuz they will turn you away. This place is down the middle of nowhere. Free after 4:PM, bathroom changing area, picnic tables, a few barbecues, beach volleyball, sandy beach, large swimming area, with separate lap lane (3) wide.
