This is truly a magnificent place to take photographs. Just one mile off of highway 92 up to paved roads climb up the hillside and there is an easy lower parking lot as well as a middle parking lot and even a high altitude parking lot. There is a beautiful newly remodeled wooden chapel with spectacular views of the San Pedro valley. You can see the mule mountains the Huachuca behind us. You can also see vast views into Old Mexico including the San Jose peak and the foothills of the Sierra Madres. There are beautiful walkway stairs up and down the hills with stations of the Cross and a really nice gigantic cross towering up into the sky which makes for a beautiful photo opportunity. I am not Catholic but I enjoy going here for the peace the quiet the moments of reflection and the photos that I can take of the San Pedro valley and you can see both Miller and Carr peaks from...

It's absolutely stunning. The views are amazing. The cross and the Virgin Mary are huge and awe-inspiring. There is a small Catholic Chapel that holds masses. Please wait for masses to end before you go in to look around. It's a nice place for quiet reflection and prayer, even if you aren't Catholic. There are lots of photo opportunities outside. We live near Our Lady of the Sierras, but just recently took our family visiting from out of town. It is now on my "must see" list for when we have company. There is parking below with many steps. I'm disabled, and my son was able to drive me right up to the chapel and cross. He had to drop me off and drive back up when we were...

My wife and I had heard about Our Lady of the Sierras and couldn't wait to visit. This is an awesome inspiring and deeply sacred place! We parked near the entrance and took the extremely strenuous walk to the top. We didn't realize that the stairs to the right is where the stations of the cross begin. Upon reaching the top, we took in the amazing views of the valley and could see the border to Mexico. The huge statue of Mary and the enormous cross are truly remarkable. Much detail has gone in to the stations of the cross. It is a wonderful place for a pilgrimage. I highly...
