Little Way Farm — Attraction in Siler City

I have been getting meat, dairy, and eggs from Little Way Farm for over 3 years now. Their eggs are noticeably different (in a great way) from store bought eggs. At this point, I can hardly eat eggs from the store or ordered from restaurants because they just are not as good as these fresh eggs! My husband and I love the variety of meat products as well and have begun to explore the numerous health benefits of eating organ meat. Purchasing whole chickens also allows us to use the leftover bones to make excellent broth. Since buying from Little Way Farm we have been able to fully dive into the practice of eating all parts of an animal and ensuring no part is wasted. As a former vegetarian, knowing that the animals were treated not just well but respectfully as well as knowing no part of the animal would be tossed aside condition for me are very important for me. I don't eat much meat besides Little Way Farm's, but I can tell you that is is top quality and worth every penny. Grateful for this farm and the great products they provide. We absolutely LOVE Little Way. Their practices are the highest and best quality for the health and wellbeing of the animals, the human consumer, and the earth. My daughter cannot get enough of their lamb. Their beef is full of flavor. And the chickens are not misleadingly plumped like the organic pastured chicken I normally get from Whole Foods or other health stores. I notice a huge difference in the amount of liquid that comes out of the chickens when I cook them. Store bought chickens (even the organic ones) lose so much liquid. With Little Way chickens there is practically no liquid that comes out in the cooking process. The chickens are so delicious. Lastly, we cannot get enough of their eggs. I did a ton of research before choosing to give them a try. That was about a year ago. I wanted to find a farm that really cared for the animals and their quality of life as well as the health quality of the animals for the humans consuming them and Little Way goes above and beyond in this. Superlative, in a word. We are thrilled with the service, and the quality is the best of the best. When we went to pick up, we had the pleasure of meeting Joe. We chatted and walked about the farm for bit. This family has it going on, and they have it right. Sustainable, organic, well-planned, and extremely well cared property and the animals…nature knows what it’s doing…Joe and family simply facilitates its natural business. It’s quite amazing and as it should be.

To be honest, I was concerned that it may taste “gamey”, but it’s fresh. My first experience was a turkey for Thanksgiving. We had a frozen bird on standby, but no need. It was the best turkey we’ve ever had! It looked different because it’s non-GMO but wow, what an amazing dinner!

I wanted to try some other things…a sample of their offerings. I haven’t got through all of it…but, the bacon was great! I plan to buy bulk, it’s that good! I’m so glad to have found this gem of responsible farming. God speed to this family and their mission to deliver fine quality...
