A prominent amenity this park offers is the 9 hole disc golf course. And on the day of my last visit, there were several groups of people participating. There is a pavilion good for group picnic and organized activity. And a rather small 2-slide playground for kids. It's along side the Conodoguinet Creek and so fishing would be another possible activity. In fact, this was the place where I first tried fishing when I moved to PA. There is nice boat launch ramp but an overkill nevertheless because the creek being only 1-2 feet deep, only kayaks, canoes, and floats would be usable. Ambiance-wise, this park feels rather dumpy and disorganized -- maybe partly due to the landscape design. The road is also in desperate need for maintenance. Absolutely not a good place for hiking or even...

i like this park for just chillin', they have an awesome river (or creek, idk which it is haha) that i love to go walking in. a lot of wildlife; it's great for exploring nature, whether you're by yourself, or with a friend or with you whole family! if you're lookin for a nice little adventure, i strongly recommend getting some water shoes or one of those floating tubes to float down the water in, cuz while the park is great (it also has little set-ups for frisbee-throwing, kind of like frisbee-golf), my favorite part's always...

Community park along the Conodoguinet Creek. Creek access is rustic through the edge trees and weeds but with a pretty good beach. Park in the big main lot and walk along the chain link fence down to the creek. Make your own path. Calm creek area is nice for sitting and kids to play in. Water is only about a foot or two deep in the summer. Good shade along the creek but too wet to sit on the ground. Picnic tables are up from the creek edge in the main area. The park is not very developed and simple. Nice open field areas for...

I only come here for the fishing, which is usually quite productive. Smallmouth bass and fall fish are the species I usually catch, but I know there are also catfish, largemouth, bluegill and Muskie in this creek, to name a few. The water level has been quite low lately, which negatively impacts fishing, but still worth it! There is one main covered pavilion with picnic tables, and many other tables scattered through the park. I often see people playing frisbee golf here as well. Nice little park with good fishing access!
