We have been talking about going to the Texas Air Museum for years and finally made it out there this past weekend. I am always impressed with how a group of volunteers come together and present such a well done exhibit. There are some very cool and rare air craft and other vehicles to see and most you can get up close and personal. The particular day that we visited there were volunteers working on the grass and yard in the front as well as others providing tours and working on projects. I appreciate places such as the Texas Air Museum to see history in person. Go check it out and support these guys!

Very nice museum, the tour guides are very informative, and the displays are very well done. The cost is a $5.00 per person donation. Well worth it. They are open on Saturdays or by appointment.

Very friendly group with an awesome collection. You can get right up and personal. If you like history or aircraft this place is for you. Bring the kids. They will love this!

This museum is pretty cool but posting this mainly due to the disappointing south plains air show they host. They give you a program that had no schedule for performances which I don't understand. The parked vintage aircraft were pretty cool, but again I want to see them fly, not sit. Then when you walk around the airport, you get the joy of all the local right wing propaganda in full effect. I mean really they still have Trump flags flying? Makes me...

I love that this exists but I wish it were better taken care of. The static exists that are outside are all in need of some major TLC. It made me sad to see all of this great military aviation rotting away. The museum apparently doesn't even care enough to mow the grass as it was calf high.

It appears that the "air worthy" exists are all that they...
