First time going to the Sleepy Eye Christmas lights this year, and it was a quick stop, but fun to see! Compared to Mankato, it's cool that the whole display in the park goes to the music, like every single tree, which was awesome to watch when parked on the backside in the little turnaround spot. They had hot chocolate & snacks, as well as a hayride, but we didn't get out of our car to do all of that. Lots of photo ops!

Very nice campground and park! The bathrooms and showers are amazingly well maintained and clean. There are battery powered scooters to rent which will easily get you to the grocery store and back. Also the walking trail around the lake is great for a easy 3 mile stroll.

Nice, well kept campground. Showers, restrooms, pavilion, playground, fishing pier. Signage to sites was a bit confusing. Police patrolled several times each day and night.

Great place to camp. It has some nice shady sites and full sun sites, so do some research before reserving a spot. Good fishing right from shore, but no swimming area at campground. There is a public beach just a short drive away. Busy area - the campground is attached to a public boat launch. This is a public park, so lots of people walking and driving through, more traffic than I anticipated which is the only real negative. Very clean facilities, great showers. OK place for kids due to the heavy traffic and folks walking through. Park was nice and quiet at night though, no noise issues and traffic let...

I’d come back again and again to this quaint town with its fantastic campground in the middle of corn country. The sites are well groomed, and the facilities are kept nice and clean. Views of the lake, and a constant breeze are perfect. The beach and paved path around the lake was a huge hit for us and our kids. The city water was clean. Not super hard or mineral water. We had plenty of room next to the field to put our...
