The trails are well marked. If this is your first time, maybe download an image of the trail map, and you can't get lost. Once upon a time, reception here was spotty, but not anymore. You'll eventually come across some high-powered electric lines that are used for motocross sporadically, and not all of them see the signs marked "no gas vehicles." Eventually, it comes hugging one of the golf courses as you reach what, I believe, is the furthest point from the main entrance. Overall, it's nice, especially...

Me and my dog love this place. Most of the time we do a large loop. I'd say its maybe 5 miles give or take. There is a rock quarry with a beautiful look out as well as this scenic outlook that looks over providence. I do run the dog off lease. Hardly ever see people. 2 to 3 at the very lost at time you wont see a soul. During the rainy season and winter it does have large puddles so boots are good for those occasions. There is also a lake that runs along one side of the trial. 5/5 would...

Many a time have I visited this place, and in those many visits I have always found myself enjoying the hike and the views from Mercer lookout. This is a place where you can spend a nice fall morning breathing the fresh fall air and basking in the warmth of the late year sun. I would highly recommend brining a pair of binoculars to the lookout in order to fully enjoy the view from that point. I will always love this place and expect to wander back here for many...

One of Smithfield's many precious outdoor spaces that can be utilized by the public. Incredible views with all variations in walking levels. Lots of beautiful rock/cave formations for picture taking or just exploring and of course climbing. Great for singles, couples, families, groups and bringing your leashed pets. Good fishing spots along Stillwater along with canoeing and beautiful scenery. Great scenic views no matter where you are on the trails

I can’t find a way to get in that is accessible. I came to just sit in nature, but I don’t see a way in. Also, be aware people do bring dogs here, even though it is a preserve. Where my GPS took me is a road alongside a development. People just parked along the road (check the side you’re on, as there is a big sign stating “no parking this side of road: police take notice” on one side.
