Tom Blake Trailhead — Attraction in Snowmass Village

I have added a pin to the Tom Blake Ridge trail on the Snowmass side because it is not easy to find. To get there, leave the snowmass mall (ski side) and cross the area where they set the stage, through the gap in the fence to the condo parking lot at about the same level. Exit onto Wood road, head uphill and take a left onto Hidden Lane. At the end of hidden lane is the start of the trail.

This hike is so beautiful. I am a dog lover so I really don’t like to say anything. Why do many people leave their dog bags all along the trail? It is really gross. The bags are left right on the trail. The same bags the next day….Also, huge amounts all along the trail without picking it up? I hate to say anything but it is not fun when you step in it. was in search of somewhere to car camp over night and this looked like a nice spot. turned out to be perfect in march 2021. not too much traffic passing and close to snowmass ski resort which is where i was going the next morning. it’s free and no one will probably it give you a hard time....
