Great new recreational area with many well maintained trails and informational signs, covered/uncovered picnic areas, as well as public grills. The incredible views of several of Maine's highest mountains are just a taste of what you'll see as you travel one of the country's most beautiful National Scenic Byways.

As of late they have added and outhouse which unfortunately people continue too make a mess of. To those folks I say this, "If you wouldn't want it done in your house bathrooms then don't do it here.
