Robbins Hill Recreation Area — Attraction in Solon

Great new recreational area with many well maintained trails and informational signs, covered/uncovered picnic areas, as well as public grills. The incredible views of several of Maine's highest mountains are just a taste of what you'll see as you travel one of the country's most beautiful National Scenic Byways.

I love the veiws of the Western mountains. Sunrises and sunsets are always worth being here for. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. As of late they have added and outhouse which unfortunately people continue too make a mess of. To those folks I say this, "If you wouldn't want it done in your house bathrooms then don't do it here. Very good views and very pretty But I went there the other day. And someone in a black chevy 1500/silverado from around 2008 got out of their truck and followed me in and out of the trail.
