Booking the capybara encounter was an easy process and the owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Worth every penny and all of the animals are well taken care of. The area is kept clean and you can tell they take immense pride in their work. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone of any age. The encounter allowed us to see capybaras up close and we were able to interact with them. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and we plan to make more trips to visit with more friends/family.

Saw them at a show during a 'Community Days' event in a housing complex and it was phenomenal! The kids and parents really enjoyed the show. It was informative and exciting, the animals really had a connection with the trainer and it was amazing to watch. This is the first time I've ever seen one of their demonstrations, but I would highly recommend them. I cannot remember the trainers name but I've included a picture.

Grant came and did a show at the Pittsburgh Frag Swap over this past weekend. He was so knowledgeable about the animals that he cares for. He truly cares for all them. It was so nice to see and learn about creatures that we don't get to normally see in our daily lives. All the kids in the audience loved his presentation.

I visited Wild World of Animals recently and came away impressed by how engaging and educational the experience was. The location is easy to find and has a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

What stood out:

The staff and educators are clearly passionate and knowledgeable — they explain each species, their behavior, and conservation context in a way that’s accessible to all ages.

The variety of animals was a highlight. We saw reptiles, birds, mammals, and more. Some opportunities to interact (e.g. holding or observing) added a hands-on dimension.

It’s set up to feel intimate and personal; you don’t feel like you’re lost in a large zoo. That personal touch makes it more memorable.

The educational value is real — my family came away with new appreciation and facts about animals we’d never seen before.

Booking and scheduling went smoothly. They seem to manage groups well and keep things organized.

Suggestions / caveats:

Some enclosures or habitats seemed more modest than what you’d see in large, traditional zoos. For certain animals, more spacious surroundings would be beneficial.

If you want to interact with certain animals, check in advance what is allowed — not all animals are available for handling for safety and welfare reasons.

Because the experience is more “up close,” the number of animals is fewer than in big zoos — but that’s not a bad thing if you prefer...

Literally just held our daughter's 13th birthday there with 5 friends and I couldn't get enough of this place!! All the girls loved it, from the educational/informative tour to my daughter petting a snake and holding a scorpion! Such a great memory to hold on to!! Grant was our official tour guide because Jaime was a little sick but still managed to greet us in between feedings of the animals (dealt with her over the phone and she was wonderful and there's never rest on a farm that huge even when you're sick!) But this husband and wife duo made such a wonderful experience for the kids! The price was extremely fair and because of a prior snafu with our original plans they managed to get us booked within three days, so thankful for that because I was losing my head over it! Amazing people, amazing animals, amazing experience. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place and the people that made it happen! Will absolutely return!! Thank you so much!! You made my daughter's 13th birthday something she'll never forget!! And neither will my...

I attended my local fair and just as I was heading up to purchase a ticket, a line of tiny cages caught my eye. These cages were covered in heavy cloth. Immediately I saw a beautiful spotted nose baboon sitting in a cage that could not have been more than 8 feet big. The poor animal was so lonely and so bored, she kept trying to lift the cloth to look at me. Animals are not made to sit in tiny cages isolated from their species. This company NEEDS to be shut down and the animals at the very least, placed in zoos where they can be with animals of their own kind! The sight of that lonely imprisoned baboon will not stop haunting me. Do not support ANY company that keeps their animals in tiny cages for...
