I loved this place. I've gone six previous times and introduced countless people. No more. It has become a joke. The first building where you browsed awaiting your tour guide is but a fraction of what it used to be. I bad omen and clue as to what is to come. Building two with it's thousands of incredible items has been reduced to 3 very intense exhibits of perhaps 4 items of questionable value as art. What used to be hours of visually delightful entertainment has become 5 minutes of perplexing judgement as to what is art. The residence and its fabulous collection is closed. The sculpture garden on the grounds is gone. The final stroll through what seemed like a studio is gone. This is now a joke and it comes without warning. My plans included 2 1/2 hours of travel each way. Expensive accommodations. Several meal reservation. A very disappointed guest. The Dirosa should make a very strong statement as to what has changed and what to expect. Also, when it might change. In the meantime, this is a...

Hands-down the best art tour I've ever been on. This "museum" houses some of the most unique collections of art I've seen in quite some time. The spaces are beautiful and the tours are the only way to view them. I'd take the discovery tour over the art and garden tour any day, but every once in a while they do a big hike on their art and garden tour which is well worth the physical effort.

Your tour guides love their job and they make an effort to make sure you are loving your experience. Di Rosa Preserve is a must-see in the midst of your Sonoma Valley countryside, so before you get your drink on, make sure to grab some...

This is one of the best kept secrets of the Napa Valley. Set among The Vineyards of the rolling Hills in the Carneros District, this gem has not only extraordinary scenery but also has wonderful Modern Art installations both indoors and outdoors. Throughout 2019 DeRosa has an extensive exhibit showing the works of Viola Frey. She was quite prolific and her work runs from painting to sculpture to ceramics and is not only colorful but also whimsical. DeRosa is a great place if you like modern art and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon on a date with someone you care for or with a...

This unique contemporary museum is located in Carneros, between Napa and Sonoma. Currently, they have a Cuban exhibit which according to the tour guide is rare, given the difficulty of obtaining Cuban artworks. As of now they only do guided tours which takes about an hour and a half. It’s privately owned and supported by an endowment fund. The facilities are nice and they have plans to open the place to events to generate income to keep the place going. Having a lake type body of water adds serenity to the museum. If you’re looking for something to see in Napa Valley, check this place out.

Beautiful spot. Makes you appreciate all Sonoma/Napa offers for outdoor and art activities.

Beautiful break from Napa and Sonoma wine tastings. Also good to do on rainy day in two large indoor exhibition spaces though there is plenty of outdoor sculpture to stroll through in fine weather too. Staff is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and ready to share rich history and emphasis on local artists and style. Exhibits are changed every three to four months to showcase more local artists so it’s always fresh and interesting. Easy to get to between Napa and Sonoma right along the highway.
