Revision/Update I spoke to the owner who was so apologetic and appreciative of the feedback. She seemed like she was really serious about making sure their customer service is top notch. I changed my rating based on the interaction with the owner*

This winery is beautiful but the customer service is more than lacking except for CJ at the bar, he turned around the bad experience for us. We were on a girls trip from out of town. We had a 2pm reservation for a picnic table on Saturday, 5/21. We booked a month or 2 in advance, the website stated we would have a 90 minute reservation. We left our hotel an hour before our reservation because we knew there would be some traffic but not realizing a 35 minute drive was going to take an hour and 10 minutes. As soon as we got into the car and realized we would be arriving at 2:10pm, we called the winery. The lady who answered told us no problem, we just would be short 10 minutes on our reservation. When we arrived, we were told by a lady behind the bar that there was a private event and would need "to be gone" by 3pm. We were not informed at the time of booking nor when we called to alert them we would be late. We were asked if we "even wanted to bother" since we were still required to purchase 4 bottles of wine for our reservation. We had just sat in traffic for an hour and 10 minutes. Yes, were were going to rush through our experience. We were left with about 30 minutes once we ordered and sat down. CJ took over assisting us and he was great!! He made us laugh and have a good time when we were all pretty bummed that we did not get the full experience (even though we paid full price). We passed several places along the way that we could have chosen to stop at had we been told we were not going to get our full reservation. It was disappointing to...

Visited this beautiful winery while exploring Sonoma back in January. It wasn't part of the itinerary but we're glad that we accidentally stopped by.

Walked in and the main bar was busy but was able to squeeze in. The server greeted us with a smile and suggested to try their wine tasting menu first, then decide later if we would get a bottle. For $15 per person, we were treated with 5 tastings. There were all different from one another but the server was kind enough to explain each wine as far taste, aroma and the region where it came from. I was immediately smitten by 2nd wine which was the 2014 Mourvèdre but I continued on with the rest of the samples. The other 2 that I liked very much were the 2014 Cabernet Franc and 2014 Tempranillo but I was still craving for more of the Mourvèdre so I decided to get a bottle for $39, which I also thought was a great deal.

After paying, the server offered to open the bottle and I said absolutely. She handed us wine glasses and suggested to grab a seat outside. Wow! What a beautiful and relaxing outdoor space. We ended up staying there for a while but we also checked out the gallery and the private wine tasting rooms. Plus they also have a small retail area with couches and a fireplace. Just a gorgeous facility with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wish I could come...

Imagery Estate Winery is a hidden gem in Napa that completely won me over. As a smaller, sister winery with a unique artistic flair, it offers a refreshingly personal and creative twist on the typical wine tasting experience. What sets Imagery apart is its deep connection to the arts—each bottle features a selected piece from a contemporary artist, with the original artwork proudly displayed in their on-site gallery. It’s a beautiful fusion of fine wine and visual storytelling.

They exclusively pour local wines, which gives the tasting room a more intimate and boutique feel. Their focus on Italian and French-inspired varietals really stood out—each pour was refreshing, full-bodied, and layered with complexity. I’m not usually a fan of white wines, but I was truly impressed by the softness and balance in theirs.

Our wine guide, Russell, was fantastic—fun, knowledgeable, and full of great insights that made the experience both relaxed and educational. By the end of our tasting, I loved it so much that I joined the wine club to have some of my favorites shipped to me twice a year.

Imagery Estate is the perfect spot for anyone looking for bold wines, genuine hospitality, and a connection to local art and culture. Can’t...

We bought the picnic package through travelzoo which includes two glasses of wine and a meat and cheese board. It was better than we hoped. Our host was Miles. He was so friendly. We really aren't wine drinks so he explained and made the wines we tasted very accessible. The facility is nice. The outdoor areas is very relaxing and beautiful. After tasting about 8 wines, we picked our favorites and headed outdoors to the lawn. We did the 11am time slot which meant it was a bit cold (they provided blankets) but also we had the place to ourselves. It was relaxing and a great setting for conversation. Highly recommend a visit even for those that don't love wine. We would definitely return.
