If you ever visit Pinecrest, then this hike is a must do. The water level was very low when I went the other day, and I think it’s lower in winter. The water level being lower meant there were much more exposed rocks which were fun to climb on. If you decide to go on the rocks then be careful because it’s very muddy. It looked like there could be possible cliff jumping spots when the water gets higher. The hike doesn’t take too long, and there’s another trail you can take if you have more time. Be prepared for numerous small to medium ascents and descends, kind of like climbing 2-3 storeys and then going down, many times.
