Indian Bluff Recreation Park — Attraction in South Carolina

Been fishing here for a while and tonight of all nights the lady whose in charge calls the Orangeburg sheriff's department on us for fishing in the public access area outside the gate. We were told by workers we could fish there during the evening but this lady decided we were wrong. Move the gate to the road if you don't want people there. The Sheriff's Deputy was completely innocent in the situation. I am forwarding this incident to Audit the Audit on YouTube for complete evaluation of the laws and regulations from tonight's incident with the park official. This place is good all around. From the entrance to the scenery, it's good. They have restrooms which are cold, running water on the outside of the building for your cooler or what have you, walking trail, a large pier, small beach area but most of the area are rocky banks, grills to grill on and a small play ground. Oh and however you wanna look at this, they have cameras EVERYWHERE. I find it a huge plus because you have some sense of security to be safe and your vehicle being safe as you enjoy the park. Took the family to The Indian Bluff Recreation Park today. They have a nice fishing pier and quite a few areas for swimming. Picnic tables and a big pavilion with tables underneath. The kids enjoyed the playground area. Our only complaint is that there was trash everywhere. The trash cans were all full and the ground was littered with debris.
