$5 entry fee, PAYABLE BY CARD ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be prepared for that. They use a machine to take payment and issue the daily parking permit. Also I noticed that: there were 2 Park Rangers on duty, NO alcohol allowed, there are public restrooms and multiple seating areas with grills to cook on, you may bring your dogs on leashes only and you have to park your vehicle in the designated areas only or the Ranger will come have you move your vehicle (..to allow emergency vehicles to pass if necessary.)

It was a nostalgic stop, really. I used to swim here all summer back in the 80's, and it turned out to be a pretty good place to walk my Butch. It was sad to see one little strip of woods were gone and replaced by some gazebo-type monstrosities that looked very hot and unwelcoming...if only there were a little shade... There was still a little wooded area with picnic tables that we had lunch on, out on the point facing 29s. I had a pretty good afternoon with my dog and my sister 😊

Decent park. This park is pretty big and spacious, lots of room to relax. Has a $5 entry fee and a good amount of parking lots. Also has a playground for children and a large space for volleyball.

Sadly, this park has a lot of downsides.

There are fishing hooks on the ground near the picnic tables (my relative stepped on a hook, and it wasn't pleasant in the slightest). It has a lot of dog p**p everywhere. It stinks pretty bad, especially during the hot summer days. And the worst of all is the restrooms... They only have 2 restrooms for the whole park, and the issue is that one of them only has 3 stalls, while the other only has 2 stalls. Even worse, the bathrooms are in an absolutely DISGUSTING state. The sinks are nasty, the toilets stink horribly, and worst of all, the floors are absolutely disgustingly HORRENDOUS! The restrooms have no drainage system for the floors, and there are piles of messy toilet paper everywhere.

To use the restrooms, I had to clean it myself. (With gloves and disinfectant wipes)

To put it in simpler terms, the restrooms are germ infested, and I believe it'd be safer to simply go and "do your thing"...
