Southside Park — Attraction in South Carolina

Idk about the rest of the park, but the water park is a neat little place. My main issue was that by lunchtime, they let in too many people and the lines became pretty long. There's not much shade, so you cook while waiting in the lines. They have a wave rider, 2 water slides, a lazy river, and a water jungle gym. The swimming area/pool needs work. Literally an 8x10, that may even be a generous guess on the dimensions of the 3ft deep tiny area. Felt gross with all the people crammed into it since that is practically the only spot to just sit and chill in the water. Still had a great time, just got to be too many people. Nice and good-sized playground, however, there is no shade over the equipment, and the surfaces of the get very hot in the sun. What is supposed to be a sand area is more dirt than sand. There is no walking track, but you can walk on the large paved portion meant for traffic that circles around the park. The water park is large with sprinklers and fun play equipment for the little ones. It has a lazy river, a wave pool, a large regular pool, and two large water slides. There are tennis courts, a basketball court, several large fields for sports activities, and it's dog friendly, provided you bring your own waste bags. I haven't seen any places to discard...

Very fun place to take the kids the pool is not deep at all there was four of us and we only spent $100 we got food drinks entry to play all day long my youngest is three and she was able to go on the water slide with us on the tube I am from Florida and they would have never allowed that just some really good fun family time to let loose and enjoy family time you don't get to do that a lot in Florida they're too worried about lawsuits and all sorts of stuff instead of it being about just spinning good family time my family and I loved it thank you to Greenville and Anderson and there was a couple other places we...
