First off: the parking situation is weird. The trailhead is marked on Maps, but when you get there you'll see a bunch of "no parking" signs. They all point in one direction; go past them and park opposite the arrows. The trail itself is very nice, and maintained by a Boy Scout troop. That said, you'll have to cross the stream at one point to get to the falls. We did this with two kids, an elderly dog, and a mom that doesn't like muddy hikes. I'd rate the trail as "moderate", but only the last 1/3 because the first half is very easy. Cross the stream over 4 rocks (not too hard) and you'll get to the drop that brings you down to the falls....
Read moreNice little walk with some sun on the way from the parking area to the first fork in the trail, I took the path to the right for a shady walk to the waterfall. Bit of a climb on the way in, even more so on the way out. A piece of rebar is sticking up out of the middle of the path, right at the bottom of the second set of stairs down to the Waterfall & the third set down is a little loose, so stay to the railing side of the stairs. Parking is a in gravel lot across from some apartments. Hike should take no more than 30 minutes one way IF you take the right at the fork in clay path.
Trail isn't marked but its worn enough to know which way to go. Steepest part is at the waterfall itself. Just gotta be smart.
We don't usually hike because where we live is below see level but this was fun, not stressful and view was worth...
