Stone Barn Cellars Winery — Attraction in South Coventry Township

I've been a customer of the winery for a few years, but recently used them for a memorial party for about 30 people. I've never hosted anything like that and was stressing. The owners and staff of Stone Barn were so very tolerant of my nervous-nelly emails and questions, and they were so very helpful the night of the event. Their wines are fabulous and stand alone, but the gentle support and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. I really felt like I was hanging out with some new friends. I've been to many wineries in PA and there are many that are larger but feel like retail shopping. Stone Barn isn't large, but is warm and cozy inside and out. The perfect size for events of about 30 people. My only constructive comment is that it is easy to drive by the winery if you haven't been there before. I did have a lot of guests who were lost or passed by it a few times. Perhaps a larger sign or flag (or a 6 foot wine bottle) along Rt 100 would help! This is my favorite winery for oh-so-many-reasons. Their wines are really great and I received many positive comments from wine-loving-guests. The atmosphere of the winery is lovely and cozy, and I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to the owners and staff for making my event so wonderful. Couldn't have done it...

Let me begin by saying we visit many wineries in PA and NJ. We have never experienced this situation at any other winery. We are very disappointed with the staff and their disrespectful comments of another local winery. Our last two visits here, the staff asked if we had been to other wineries in the area and when we told them where, they immediately rolled their eyes and had very negative comments about this other winery and the owners. This shocked us completely because our visits to this other winery have been very pleasant and their wines are fabulous. Unfortunately we cannot say this about Stone Barn's staff or their wines. At least the other winery waives the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. We will not go back to Stone...

We had the most pleasant wine tasting adventure at this winery. I am not usually a wine drinker, but when we got to the sweet red wine (with a hint of raspberry flavor) with the gluten free chocolate torte drizzled with raspberry and dressed with raspberry--OH MY! Heaven on earth. Did I mention the cranberry flavored wine with the delicious cranberry cheese? ....I went home with a bottle of each, and the most flavorful concord I've ever tasted! Did I mention, I don't usually drink wine? My family and friends all loved the wines I shared with them when I got home. Can't wait to go back for more! ...
