Angostura Reservoir — Attraction in South Dakota

Absolutely wonderful recreation area. We stayed in Cascade Campground site 58. Lots of shade, level and huge. The bike trail was perfect to go from the Marina all the way to Hat Creek Campground and back. The miles of sandy beach are a delight for swimming or strolling. The surrounding mountains are a beautiful backdrop to the lovely lake. The bathhouses were plenty nice and kept very clean. We enjoyed the individual showers! Wish we had booked 2 weeks instead of 5 days. We travel full time and this park ranks at the top of our list....

This is my favorite camping place. The lake is great the amenities are nice. We haven't found a spot we're not happy with. Cascade campground is where we stay and it's just perfect. There are convenient bathrooms and showers located throughout the sites. There are several playgrounds located within the different campgrounds. Plenty of places to pull over and enjoy the lake for the day without staying and camping. Overall, we love it and are making wonderful family memories every...

This place is great been there multiple times multiple years iv rented canoes once great experience and recently experienced camp ground sot 15 it was great i uses catch fish first catch and now it's so dead didn't even get a bite there were a lot of turtles on the tires it was quite easy cruise around my canoe they're wave reducing is decently effective disappointed about that store at the marina always closed even during busy times of year and...
