TheĀ Fort Randall Military PostĀ was established in 1856 to help keep peace on theĀ frontier. It was located on the south side of theĀ Missouri RiverĀ inĀ South Dakota, just below the present site of theĀ Fort Randall Dam. Wikipedia We used to walk thru this chapel in the sixties. The plaques posted offer insight into history that's being forgotten, both early American and native Indian culture. Very interesting and worth checking out if your near the Fort Randall damn! Check it...
