Took my dog to the off leash area, which is pretty amazing. The area is huge with a bunch of trails that's in the woods that goes from gravel to dirt. Has a giant fence that goes all the way around it. was able to let my dog off the leash and she disappeared in the woods with the other dogs and came back about 5 min later biggest smile on her face. Never really seen my dog that excited and happy before. I just find it amazing I can go on a small nature walk with my dog and not to have to use a leash, and she can run off on her own and I don't have to worry. If you was to walk along the fence the entire time, I would say it could take about 15-20 min depending on your pace but there are a lot of different paths so it could take long if you decide to explore. This place is worth checking out if you have a dog. Sadly dogs aren't allowed on the splash-pad though. There is a small fenced area inside the larger one if you want to keep an eye on your dog as well. Dog poop bags are provided there with designated trash bins.

This is not your open field, traditional dog park. It's a place where dogs and their humans can enjoy nature in an off-leash, secure area. While your pup will meet and greet other canine companions, the focus of this place is exploring the natural surrounding on a gentle, short hike. It's an escape for your typical city walks. Word of advice, wear sturdy shoes. The area is paved with small, pointy rocks.

We came here for the first time today and I was so impressed! The park is absolutely beautiful. Ever since I got my puppy I’ve been wanting to take her for walks with me off-leash but it’s so hard to do in Pittsburgh. I love that this park has trails for the owners to walk and the trees give it a woodsy feel. There were a lot of other dogs there and everybody was very friendly and attentive to their dogs. They do have a small dog park sectioned off which is an open area that can be gated shut. There are garbage cans with bags for cleaning up after your dog. There’s also a pavilion and benches. This is such a great park and we will definitely be coming back a lot more. I only wish we...
