We are here once or twice weekly for swim lessons as we love the swim instructor by the way . However I do have a 5 year old with autism , which means even getting him in the water to be comfortable can take about 5-10 mins . Instead of wasting the instructors time I put my kid in the water about 7 mins prior to his lesson just so that he can relax and be ready to learn. Normally the lifeguards are understanding and never ever make me pay an open swim fee for 5 mins . Today For the first time ever a female life guard walked up to me and asked if we were here for lessons . I said yes she then proceeded to tell me being that it was 5 mins prior to the Start of the lesson I would have to remove my child from the pool or pay the open swim fee . Again he’s autistic so I took him out the water he’s shaking, frustrated and crying , so I put him back in and told her I’d just pay the fee for being literally a few minutes early which i wasn’t aware was a thing because no other lifeguard has done that to us . Most of them are really empathetic & understanding as we wait for the coach on the stairs. Swim lessons are prepaid so I had to go back to the car to get my wallet . Of course I couldn’t leave my kids unattended so I waited until the instructor was ready for my babies . The entire 5 mins we waited she continued to watch me and my children like a hawk. It was so bad my 3 year old decided not to get in the pool at all until the instructor came over because she made them feel like they were doing something wrong which is completely unacceptable . She threw off the kids entire vibe . It just made us feel really uncomfortable again for the 5 mins we were early . Eventually I went and paid the open swim fee for the few minutes he was in the pool early, we did our lesson and left immediately after. Once I finish what I already paid for in lessons we are definitely not returning . They really should be more understanding to kids with special needs especially being that our lessons are only 30 mins long . I don’t understand how my kid being in the water 7 mins early to prepare himself while sitting on the stairs caused...

I have been going there since the park opened, and I rarely have an agreeable experience. The pool facilities are the only ones in the county, so all but one lane is reserved for swim teams. If you aren't lucky or know their schedule, you can't swim. The staff at the pool is also a pain; they are unfriendly and difficult with tedious pool rules. They always have events going on which further limits your access to any number of their amenities. The trails are also quite nice being wide and plentiful, but once again, use is a problem. The trails which most people run are very flat, but the land is so low that it is essentially a marshland. Unless you have special shoes for water, you instantly have weights for your feet. The parts that aren't in the marshlands are incredibly steep, so only extremely fit people could run them without stopping. The trails are good for horses (for which there is much manure) since the mud doesn't bother them, but for some reason, they have added a whopping .75 mile concrete walk way right down the main trail. If you need to run, there are better parks in the area. If you need to swim, you're better off getting a...

I just called up there and I’m not sure why their advertising that they have horseback riding but there’s no horseback riding. I was trying to figure out what did they do with horses since I see horses on the pictures but maybe people are bringing their own horses I have no idea, but I feel like customer service was horrible over the phone. I was just trying to see what could I bring my children here to do this summer and obviously nothing is available but it’s posted online for horseback riding and the swimming area is under construction atm didn’t seem like much care or concern or recommendations just rushed off phone. I at least felt like I should’ve got off the phone and known exactly what this place was or what is it or like what is available? I just felt like I still don’t know lol maybe it’s good for walking the trail who knows nothing was offered or recommended so...

The Big Bounce America is 30 minutes from Atlanta in Douglasville, GA. They will be here until April 20! Visit their website to get tickets today! They also had food vendors and face painting and the vibes were great. This was so much fun! #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #bigbounceamerica #atlanta #thingstodoinatlanta #weekendactivities #bouncyhouse #familyfun #adultsessions #childsessions #funactivities

Back on the banks of the Chattahoochee, Boundary Waters Aquatic Center is a combination of sports center and children’s water park. For serious swimmers missing their weekly exercise there is an eight-lane competition pool. There’s also a shallow pool complete with slides and other attractions that has been specially designed for younger visitors. Located beneath a glasshouse-like frame, you can visit come rain or shine, making it a great alternative to Cochran Mill Park should the weather turn. The center can be found just 20 minutes north by road from Union City.

Service was friendly. Plenty of parking, but it is a hike to the entrance. Make sure you bring a quarter to use the lockers. The pool wasn’t crowded and the price was decent. I was grossed out by the dirty locker rooms which looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time- dirt, built up grime, hair on floors, toilets, benches and walls. The pool water wasn’t sparkling, a little on the cloudy side. It is a heated pool. Overall it was ok, but I was so uncomfortable with the lack of cleanliness, I didn’t stay long and will likely not return.
