Mansion Beach — Attraction in South Kingstown

I am so glad that people had highly rated this place on Google Maps which helped us find it....this is a truly a gem tucked away in nature on Block Island...gorgeous views...the water is crystal clear, the beach is beautiful and the sand is amazing. Not crowded even in the busy summer (beginning August for us) We disnt visit every beach but of the ones we visited, this was the best on Block Island and i cant imagine one being better. Beautiful beach!! The water was clear, sand is perfect, and super fun waves. We rode our moped here and got a $50 ticket. Apparently you can't drive the moped on the dirt road that leads to the beach?? We had no idea so getting a ticket was a bummer, a sign stating no mopeds would've been helpful. This beach has a very small parking area so car-pool, plan according. It's also quite a bit of a walk if you have lots of gear to carry BUT it's all worth it.
