Patuxent Research Refuge — Attraction in South Laurel

Family friendly. Exhibits were cleverly fogged on the outside so you had to go inside. There was something for everyone: telescopes, otter erotica, wolf violence, dancing with cranes, polar bear, snowball fight, coloring. The woman who worked there was very nice, as was the bathroom (soap smelled good! However, the hand dryer was weak.) Interactive exhibit-- skulls!! to touch. Made us feel like we were back in middle school...

Great place to be outside but I must say after working and living here for 7 months this place is run like a fast food joint. The red tape is absurd and prevents anything from getting properly done. My car was scratched, the WiFi is horrible and just the overall incompetence of everyone involved here is astounding. I will never be working for the feds, much less...
