We love this park. It has many different routes you can take. Tailor it to your needs. There's an outer big loop (approximately 2 miles??) for a long walk. It has two hills to give you that extra push. It also is split in half to make a smaller track (I think it's a mile long??) It has a more gentle, gradual incline. Also has a smaller loop within that route, and you are able to really condense to a small walking path, one around the upper parking lot and one path around the lower parking lot. They both are flat. Outlined with beautiful trees with a farm field peeking through on the other side. Occasionally seeing deer. Birds are abundant. Bird houses line the park. There is a small marsh in the center of the park. That's where you can see bunnies. There are soccer, baseball, and football fields for active families . Frisbee golf course is a lot of fun. It is a 9 hole course field. There is a small playground and a small pavilion near the entrance and two large pavilions at the upper parking lot area. There is a path at the back of the park in the middle, which connects you to the South Middleton Park. This is great for long walks. Bicycles are permitted there, as well as dogs on leashes. Come and see for yourself. Just remember to be respectful and keep trash and doggie waste in its proper place so this wonderful park remains...
Read moreIt is a very beautiful park. I attended a baby shower there at a pavilion in the way back..which was attended by my niece the honoree who traveled a long distance because she is living in Philadelphia now. Very beautiful shower and was very well planned out and attended by her local Boiling Springs friends. However when she got to her opening of gifts another family came up and insisted she had reserved the pavilion and she had someone from out of state there and she hired a professional photographer and they needed to eat before that person got their to do their photos. So ..why was my other niece told by the township they do not reserve the pavilions.. basically first come first serve . Which there are many pavilions available to use. So do your employees not know that they do indeed reserve the pavilions..then they pass along the information of if it is open ..use it? Or was the other person and her family told the wrong information and it was reserved? My niece was very upset over this and had every right to be! So either please train or relay the information of the pavilion using status.. reservation or no reservations needed so all members of the community know exactly what is correct. So my niece could not even open all her gifts because the other lady was upset ....along with all of our family and guests to her...
Read moreThis park is so large that you can do almost anything you want to here. There is plenty of space to spread out, with baseball, soccer, and football fields. A playground for the kids too.
There are pavilions if you want to have a picnic or need shade.
It is fun to bring the puppies to let them run around with no risk of them interfering with other people.
The walking path is great. It is long, with plenty of benches along the way. It is pretty flat, with the occasional small incline. Nothing very steep. You can also connect to the path that takes you to South Middleton park.
The disk golf is very challenging, because the holes are so long.
There are indoor restrooms, so no having to deal with sun-baked...
