I have been going here on a nearly weekly basis since I was only 8 years old. Don't let the size of the lake fool you, there are some VERY large fish in here. The water level is high this year, which has made most of the shoreline difficult to access without a boat. There is a pathway that goes all the way around the lake and there are benches every so often if you need to rest or just want to look out at the water and there is an 18 hole disc golf course here as well. There is also a playground area and a sheltered area if you want to sit down and have something to eat.

They have built this park and lake up very well over the years. We used to fish here when we were kids, and it was a roughed out pond in a rough park. They appear to have established a great family atmosphere and will be fishing this more. We caught water in abundance this day we went, but we will be back during morning or evening time to see the bass bite. They say there are northern in here as well, but don't know the lake enough yet to find em.

Love the view, but not commenting on that. I feel really bad that they haven't updated the disc golf. The pictures I post show that it been since 1997. They need new maps and course hole 7 they have a lot broken tree they block 🚫 the pathway. On hole 3 they need to trim the tree. There no way to throw thru it. On hole 2 they measure it wrong it not 274. It farther, it should be a par 4 or 5 on that hole. I might updated more photos to show.
