J&D Cellars — Attraction in South Strabane Township

There are no shortage of wineries and wine options in western PA, but J&D Cellars offers the very rare combination of excellent wines, affordable prices, great people and a gorgeous setting that encourages you to stick around and enjoy a bottle or two on the patio. John and Dot offer an excellent mix of affordable sweet whites (around $11/bottle) and more robust and complex reds (up to $22/bottle) that give you options for both newbies and more experienced wine lovers.

My personal favorite aspect of the winery is their outdoor patio. Pack a picnic, grab a table and enjoy a few bottles with good friends. Extra bonus: Sundays bring live music from local artists. While the winery is mostly a seasonal place when it comes to "hanging out," there are year round hours for purchasing wine. We had a wonderful time at this quaint winery!
