Our kids have taken this activity in as a yearly tradition, and going last night you can tell many other families also have taken to this experience as one they work into their holidays; thermoses of cocoa on tailgates before bundling up little ones in strollers, lots of little people waiting to tell Santa and Mrs. Claus what they are hoping to see under the tree. It is nice for people to put so much energy into something to share with the community, and it’s nice to have something close to home to work into the holiday shuffle. Regardless of what adults think, the magic is in the lights, in the mystery of the small houses, and standing in line with loved ones waiting to see Santa; in twenty years a lot of little people will remember a magical adventure. Over the years we have taken our exchange students from many countries so they could experience “real everyday” traditions that American families recall. My husband remembers going when he was small, probably 45 years ago- thank you for the tradition, we need more...

I like the idea behind Tiny World, and was hoping it would be cute for my daughter. But unfortunately it seems like with Ernest's passing, or maybe a bit before that happened, the maintenance became too much. Many of the buildings have boarded up windows, broken lights, interiors that are toppled over from a squirrel or something, paint peeling, moss growing on everything, etc. The pathway needs weeding and has some broken glass on it as well. None of the lights or lamps were on when we were there. There is a cute water-powered mill that was not operating when I was there. It's a shame, really. You can see how cute the place could be, if it were cleaned up and...

We love taking our kids to Tiny World, although locally it also goes by the names of Tiny Village and Tiny Town. They have made a lot of updates recently and it looks better than ever.

Parking is still hit and miss but I'm not sure they have space or funds to improve any of that since they run on donations.

Make sure you walk around the little houses to see in the skylights so you can check out the inside of the little buildings. Looking in all the windows and seeing everything set up is the best part! It's impressive for the adults and magical for the children, and certainly worth talking a walk through if...

Super cute tiny world built in the backyard! There is a path you walk with so many little buildings like a church, grocery store, house, train station, etc. Donation box at the front. There were cute kittens too and we could hear ducks somewhere. Location not far off the highway and just 5 minutes from the world's biggest can of paint too! Definitely stop by!
