It is a nice beginner hike with a fire tower at the finish. The view from the firetower leaves a lot to be desired with all of the overgrowth of trees, but it is nice to have a destination or point of interest while wandering in the woods. There is also a mini boardwalk along the blue trail where you can hang out by the stream right before the trail veers off from the water. Parking can be a bit tough at times, especially when an event is going on there. My favorite times to go are right after heavy rain or the first rainfall when snow is still on the ground.
