My good friend and neighbor took me fishing here in the late summer/early fall, and was delighted by just how beautiful Lake Sylvia is — both the east and west sides. Though the fishing wasn't that great when we went, I've heard REALLY GOOD THINGS about much earlier in the season, especially around the time of the fishing opener. Either way, it's also a great place to kick back and enjoy the beauty. I highly recommend coming out on a boat in the fall and taking in the colors all around you. It really is a gem in this part of Minnesota.
