Seawall Picnic Area — Attraction in Southwest Harbor

This is one of our family's favorite places to enjoy some peace and quiet and go beach combing for sea glass. The sea glass we find here is small with the occasional medium sized pieces. So far we have found brown, green, and every now and again a blue. If you like picnics by the beach and/or sea glass, this is the spot for you.

Beautiful picnic grounds right on the ocean, had 10 or so different nice picnic tables and even some fire pits. Also had trash cans and bathrooms (which were closed for the season when we were there in November). Highly recommend stopping by before heading to Bass...
