We had fun as a family! The value for price isn’t as good as Jaker’s, so it ended up feeling expensive. Our group included 2 adults, 1 young adult, and 3 kids ages 3-9.

PROs: Not very crowded during Covid. Easy parking (from being not crowded). Good variety of activities for younger families. $5 admission for ages 3+ included corn slide, kiddie maze, yard games (Jenga, connect 4, lassoing), hay bales and tire swings to climb, small petting zoo, etc. The most fun thing for us adults was the metal barrel roll and bean bag toss. Family friendly (no gore or super scary). Cute decor and photo opportunities including Mater the Tow Truck. Specialty pumpkins for all your fall needs. Hand sanitizing station by admission.

CONs: $5 admission does NOT include corn mazes or the cow ride (we paid extra for our 2 youngest to go around once- unfortunately the ride is short, addictive, and expensive). There was no one else in line and only one time around was allowed. Currently Jaker’s admission includes all activities, you can go on them multiple times, and there’s MORE—more animals at the petting zoo, additional slides, much bigger pumpkin patch, etc. Older kids, teens, or young adults don’t have as much to do here. I like that Jaker’s has activities geared for older kids, too. Masks not required, so hardly any patrons wore them. Not safe if the crowds were bigger and didn’t allow for social distancing. We didn’t try their food options or snacks since we spent all our extra money on rides.

Nice if you’re looking for a small place for a fall activity...

Went on the 28th, got there around 8:00 pm, and went straight to the Field of Fright Corn Maze. The line was long. It took 1 hr. 40 minutes to finally enter the maze. The maze experience lasted 16 minutes. The ground was very cold while we waited. Our feet were freezing towards the last 30 minutes of our wait. From all of the waiting and cold weather, the experience was so good! The actors seemed well-trained. The production was phenomenal! We loved the part where we were locked in the pen with two guys holding chainsaws. There were parts where we thought someone was going to scare us from a specific spot, but completely fooled us and made us scream. Overall, if we did this again, I would first, buy the fast pass to save on time. Second, I would wear shoes and socks that insulate my feet. I would also wear shoes that I would not mind getting mud and hay on the soles. Third, I would invite others to come check it out! Last, shout out to the guy who gave us the last ride of the night on the cow train and took our picture! Loved his...

Honestly, really disappointed. It’s quite pricey, and most of our time was spent in the line waiting to go into the haunted maze. Then it got too close to closing time so they started sending people through faster so they could close up shop. (We had been waiting in line for 2 hours) it was impossible to be surprised by any of the scares because everyone was now just in a giant line watching the group in front of them get the scare and then walking a few steps up to get the entirely expected ā€œscareā€ from the same actor they had just seen moments ago. So the whole scare experience was kind of ruined, not worth the wait. AND THEN midway through the scary maze the actors were asking us how many groups were behind us? I understand that it can get boring working a haunted maze, but breaking the 4th wall is an absolute no-no. Especially when its a 28$ entrance fee per person. So moral of the story is i feel like i paid to wait in a line, then the end of the line had Halloween decorations and a few (not all)...

Glen Ray's is a wonderful place for festive family fun! I liked that we could actually go into the pumpkin patch to choose our own pumpkins and weren't limited to the "pre-picked" ones at the exit. They have several different lengths for their corn maze--we did the short version so we could split our time between all the different things they have to offer. And boy, do they have a lot of activities to choose from! We enjoyed the inflated jump spot, Jenga, rubber duck racing, snacks, photo ops, hay bale pyramid, and human hamster wheel... And there was still more to do. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We came on superhero/princess day, and some of the staff were dressed up and let us take a picture with them. Think Disney Parks characters, but you don't have to wait in line. After having such a great experience here, we will definitely be coming back!!
