Spanish Lake Park — Attraction in Spanish Lake

The park and lakes are beautiful and well maintained. Lots of morning walkers using the lake loop trail and you can see why. Wildlife is abundant and the lake shows good sign of a healthy fish population. By far probably the best park in North county and not overly used ( writing this during fall weather). The only thing I'd like to see different is the use of cut trees put into the lake off shore in the deeper areas to help support the crappie growth and population. Giving them better structure to hold to so they aren't having to compete with bass in the Lilly pads. All in all its a...

It's a great place to visit and just chill out, my favorite being the floating platform that sticks out into the lake. The walking trail that goes around has some fun equipment stops that is fun for kids to play one while you can take a quick break from your walk. My only two complaints are that I wish the main equipment actual play ground had a bit more for the kids to play on, considering how large the park grounds are it seems pretty small. I also hope that better care gets taken with the equipment and swings, maybe more routine...

Just as beautiful a park now as it was decades ago..very well kept..there is a park curfew..very respectful and patient park ranger allowed us a little extra time to load up the children and the picnic gear we were using..I recommend this park for everyone who likes serene, clean parks..there was a Johnny on The Spot bathroom that was convenient ..also the children who attended the quickly planned picnic I attended had a wonderful time playing on the playground...Great experience each time here throughout at least two...
