We stayed here a couple years ago with our big family in the back trailer because it slept something like 16 people. I can’t quite remember how many, but we picked it because we all had children and it would fit our families nicely. We then spent the entire weekend being harassed by a groundskeeper staying in a trailer next to us. He would come out and yell at our kids for really weird things like that they weren’t allowed to step on the grass and they weren’t allowed to chase the lizards on the gravel roads (not on the property) because the lizards “have diseases”. My sister (a geologist) was like “I’ll be the one deciding what animals my kids can play with, thanks.”. He came over once screaming about the WiFi. He insisted that one of our children must have unplugged it because it wasn’t working. We hadn’t even realized there was a router. It was in the laundry room and the kids hadn’t gone in there. No one had touched it. It was plugged in, but this guy was certain we had purposely sabotaged it. I don’t even want to know what he was doing in his trailer with the internet that cause him so much rage when it was interrupted. Then he told us we couldn’t use the hot tub, which was one of the included amenities on Vrbo when we booked the place. He kept yelling at our kids while we weren't there. My sister’s husband finally had to tell him not to speak to any of the kids. If he had a problem, he needed to come talk to an adult about it. He didn’t come to any adults to complain about the kids after that. He ruined that entire special weekend for us. It’s not very often that we get to all of my sisters together. If I could give 0/5 stars, I would give it. I still think about that vacation and how awful that...
Read moreThis place was very strange. We were visiting with our 5 year old son. The lady at the front desk told us the Utah rules regarding serving families with children and told us that we could be served outside as long as we stayed outside of the serving area and within 50 feet of the building. She told me that she would bring out two tastings for my husband and I and that there were some swings for my son to play on. There were two other people at the entire winery. We waiting outside for half an hour while my son played on the swing. In the meantime, another server came out and served the other two people there multiple times and saw us there waiting (we couldn’t be in the same area because we had our son with us). In the end, we just left. Don’t recommend this place at all and don’t even try going if you have a child with you because instead of just telling you that you can’t be served, they’ll just pretend you aren’t even there. I guess they just didn’t want to serve us because we had a child with us but I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just tell us that to begin with. It’s too bad because it looks like a beautiful winery and we were really excited about trying...
Read moreI hate leaving poor reviews, but I was very surprised by our experience here after reading all the other positive reviews. My husband and I did a tasting and the woman helping us was nice, however, the wines and the entire experience itself was subpar.
They didn't provide any details about the wines or vineyard until I asked. The wines themselves were not very good, except for the Cab which is sourced from out of state. The wine pours were barely 2 sips and were supposed to be 3 oz (half of a normal glass of wine). We only received 4 pours even though it was supposed to be 5 or 6. I even asked if we were missing any in the tasting and she said, no. Lastly, the price is very high. It was $50 for two tastings with tax & tip and in total, and we didn't even get a full glass of wine if you combine the pours. I expect this pricing in proper wine regions, but not for this type of experience.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend visiting here if you enjoy drinking wine. Utah laws also make it hard to enjoy anything beyond the tasting itself too (you can't have a normal glass of wine here), but I don't fault the...
