Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, this was the best fall family experience Iāve ever had. Weāve done the big orchards outside of Detroit like Blakeās; weāve done Robinetteās in Grand Rapids. In both cases, the experiences were characterized by high prices, over-crowding, and obscene lines for everythingā which is just awful with young kids. Completely different scene here. Small enough to be accessible to young families; large enough to not feel as though you were in a crowd. The you-pick apples were easily accessible and reasonable in cost. Pumpkin patch was huge and full of good picks; the donuts and cider were tasty. There were a good number of things to do for āfreeā: checking out the farm animals, a cool playground area. Weāll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheir corn maze is legit! Three teenagers and the quickest one took 30 minutes to find the way out. šš¼ The hayride is also quite long compared to others. šš¼ We had fun. It was COLD today and we were not dressed warm enough. It was also extremely muddy. You will have more fun if you prepare for the windiness of open farmland, and expect to transverse 4 inch thick mud. The pumpkin field is enormous, as are the pumpkins, and they found huge, beautiful š pumpkins for $7 each. The donuts are tasty! The apples are amazing. The hot dogs are subpar even for boiled hot dogs, but š¤·š½āāļø There are no "indoor" spaces or shelter. They did have a fire pit with a small fire. Dress to be outside! Maybe bring a blanket for yourself for the hayride. There is a nice play area and a petting zoo that looked nice too but we didn't have time.
