Chestnut Ridge Winery is an excellent West Virginia Winery with a beautiful location on top of a hill in Spencer. The location is very relaxing with plenty of seating inside and out, as well as some walking trails.

The owner is very nice and very knowledgeable about her products as well as other wineries in West Virginia. It's a pleasure getting to talk with her about the area and the wine.

They have an exceptional variety of wines, from deep, complex dry wines like the Blackwater, to more sweet, fruity, relaxing options like Blood Orange or White Cranberry, so there is plenty to choose from for everyone. There are also many other local goods in the shop to buy, like jams and jellies, honey, sauces, etc.
