I was fortunate enough to locate and transport an injured momma opossum with a pouch full of babies to the SWVWL sanctuary a few days ago. Terri was very friendly and professional. She immediately assessed the injuries and let me know the vet would be coming to see her the next day. It takes a special kind of person to be able to deal with an uncaring (at times) public in an effort to help animals. I'm glad I got to meet Terri and see first hand the kind of love and support she provides. I fell in love with the animals in the short time I was there. As soon as we got there they got to work giving her antibiotics making sure she wasn’t injured and just giving her all the treatment she needed.
