We are camping at Elinor Bedell park and absolutely love the layout and beautiful trails. The campground itself is very level and nice. Our two children 3 & 5 love the playground! If has covered shelters everywhere, very nice public restrooms. The playground even has a beautiful play log cabin my son and daughter both love. Our pup molly loves the walk from the camper to the play area. Our energy family is staying in town to change meters and we always love for state parks to camp together in. This one is very nice. A little hard to find on Garmin. Word of advice use your GPS on your phone. I have ran into 2 DNR employees who could use some warmth in their customer service skills. Read moreWe camped in a Class C motorhome here. We reserved and paid online. There was no tag on our site and nowhere to check in. We finally saw someone in the 4th day who wanted to know why we had not dropped money in the self registration and I had to explain that we reserved online. He said our tag probably blew away. It is a beautiful park but the sites are extremely long and extremely unlevel. The hookups are all at the very back of the sites so take extra long hoses. We were there in mid April and there was no water anywhere, not even a restroom open. The trash was nearly full with a chain across it so it was hard to squeeze...
