This place hasn't changed from when I was a kid, and it's still a great place to put in your boat and even fish or swim. Crawdads are aplenty if that's your thing. My gripe with the place isn't the location itself but rather the state of Washington, which now has a pay to play system in place where they make you pay to park anywhere in the area. Read moreThis is a lovely, quiet spot on the Spokane River with a small boat ramp for canoes, kayaks, etc. It is close to Spokane and just down the road from the Bowl and Pitcher campground inside Riverside State Park. We were there to do a little swimming but did see a few people putting boats in and out. There is a picnic day use area there as well, with a lot of shade. It is a Discover Pass/fee use area....
