My family and I love this place and always drive the 35 minutes. It’s always worth it!
Unfortunately, we went to the autumn festival today and were pretty disappointed. Having gone to previous events and even lazy weekends, it seems different this time. Every activity has a price tag. $1 to pick three zinnia flowers, 1$ per sunflower, $5 pony rides, $3 petting zoo, $1 to feed the animals, and $5 to go through a maze of sunn hemp flowers. While I understand wanting to monitor how much people feed the animals, everything else seemed a little excessive. But, I also understand when a location gets popular, price tags start appearing.
On top of that, I purchased some Old Florida tortilla chips for $4.25 from the produce stand and they were five days past the expiration date and stale.
We will, of course, be back. But I think we will only come during non-event weekends. Still love the farm...
Read moreThis farm is excellent! Everything is homegrown and no chemicals… Not only do they sell your typical farm goodies, but this is a place to bring your children and make it an event… You go here with your children and they can pet the animals, they can feed the animals, and they will have an excellent time, especially on the weekends. Twice a month, they have the farmers market where multiple vendors come and sell food, candles, candy, popcorn, sandwiches and other things while the kids run around and have a great time while you support your local farmer. I highly recommend them.
Did beginnings have an interesting story with Joanne, and then Rollo, Who used to work at the farm but then became part owner; what an interesting American success story...
Read moreGreat place for the family to visit. Very safe. Fruit and vegetables are great. They also have herbs, honey, goats milk soap, canned goods, drinks, popsicles, etc. People are soooo nice and helpful. Very clean and organized. Beautiful and peaceful farm. They have picnic tables. They give you food to feed the chickens and goats. They have multiple areas to sanitize and wash your hands. They have very well cared for chickens, goats, rabbits, cows and a horse (31 years young) to view. We also fed carrots to the cows and horse today. My son was in heaven and the gentleman helping us was so sweet and nice. Highly recommend this farm. They are also so helpful to the community. They do have a Facebook page to get up to date news. They...
