Although the Naturals put on a great performance for Opening day 2022, the concessions at the ballpark were abysmal to say the least. Attendance appeared to be less than 50% capacity and there were still long lines at every concession booth, that took 3-4 innings to get through, only to be told that their card readers were down and that they were out of a considerable amount of items by the 5th inning.
Workers walking around behind the counter, looking as though they had no clue what was going on, and clear disregard for the customer; moseying about with no sense of urgency. There were plenty of workers at each booth, even though half of them were just standing around, whispering into the cashiers' ears from time to time.
Prices for concessions went up considerably from the prior year, as well. I wouldn't doubt if the franchise pulls itself from the stadium, as attendance continues to be in steady decline.
Oh, and for accountability: Don't even think about voicing your concerns on their Facebook page.. They'll just delete it and act as though it...
Read moreIn 2019, the Arvest Ballpark implemented a "clear bag policy." No bags over 12"x6"x12" are permitted. All bags other than small clutches MUST be clear... This includes diaper bags. So if you are looking for a family friendly event for the WHOLE family, keep looking!
Have you ever tried to pack everything you need for an infant AND toddler into a single gallon size Ziploc bag? It's not possible. Diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, age appropriate snacks (my 9 month old isn't eating hot dogs and nachos), pull-ups, change of clothes (in case of accident), etc. I can't even fit all that into 2 gallon size bags, one for each of us. Even if I could, I'd have to carry these no handle bags as well as my 2 kids... I don't have enough hands for all that. And I refuse to go out and purchase a bag that I will NEVER use again for a stupid baseball game. 😠Screw you, Naturals! I hope you lose tonight. (I'm aware it's not the players' fault but there ballpark owns the team and losing...
Read moreSuper nice ballpark in Springdale. Home of the Naturals. We have been to a few games and to their yearly free movie night. Always fun, lots of seating, payio areas, and shade. They have a nice gift shop when you need to get in the A/c. There's a play area for kids with inflatables and a train to ride. Weekend days they usually have some sort of special like dollar hotdogs and Saturday night there are fireworks. The only downside is the high prices of food, which I guess is normal. Hot dogs and pretzels are $5, fries and nachos $8+. We did try the bbq fries today, and they were delicious though (around $11). They also have a Dippin Dots and Lemonade stand. Every time we have been on a kids or family day, they have a free gift when we leave - today it was Oreos and baseball cards. They also have a clear bag only rule and you can't bring food or drinks except one sealed water...
