Went to the dog park in town with the little ones today. Ellie seemed to be enjoying herself 😂. #pugsoftiktok #mine #petsoftiktok #dogpark #furbaby

My kids and I LOVE this park. The splash pad is set up so parent spectators get minimal splash (water gun segments even weaken in strength when pointed outward), there are so many water options, the entire thing is fenced in (so important for parents of "bolters" as I am). The whole water area is also surrounded by shaded tables Then there's the park itself. It's HUGE, with options for every age, as well as larger, disabled swings. There are multiple structures, the tallest being a few tiers up, but fully gated in with a covered slide coming off it. Really an ideal place to bring kids. *Sorry about the more "artsy" photos, they weren't initially taken for review purposes

Play area review: 5/5! Newer equipment with a variety of ways to get to the top-tier slides (stairs most of the day wu, for those that notice), it's a large play area with several zones. Rated ages 5-12, but fun for all ages, it includes a rope climbing cube, swing areas, and one of the largest fenced enclosures we've encountered! Will definitely be returning!

It is very difficult to find this park if you don't live in the Springdale area. There are no maps upon entering the CL "Charlie" and Willie George Park. It's easy enough to find the splash pad and the other sports areas, but the dog park is way off to the side. When I got to the dog park section, I was not impressed by the field. Grass was dying in patches everywhere, and it's clear to be due to the lack of maintenance, and not dogs actually running about there. I say this because I was the only one there. At the IAMS dog park in Fayetteville, it would have been crawling with people at the time.

I did not like that there are individual 'isolation' areas for the small and large dog pens. (Which, by the way, have no markings to indicate which is which) At the Fayetteville dog park, there is one isolation area where you could let your dog from the enclosure into the isolation in order to water them from the fountain. At this one, you have to leash your pet before getting them water.

I have to give them props for the agility equipment though. If my dog was younger, I definitely would have learned how to use the equipment. They're great for keeping dogs in shape.

I think the one true saving grace of this place is that you could drive up to the splash pad after hard runs and walk your dog through the spraying water. I would advise caution. There are a lot of kids there, and if your dog is reactive, it might not be the best idea to bring them there.

Bottom line? If you can get to the IAMS Dog Park in Fayetteville,...

Very nice park, but two things need improvement for the dog park. Young kids of any age are allowed in the off leash dog park, which is almost unheard of across the nation. Not all dogs, even the most well trained, are comfortable with small children. It irresponsible for the parents to bring toddler to the large dog park, and ultimately unsafe, not even from bites but getting ran over by dogs playing. Second, the maintenance gate needs to be locked when they are not servicing the park. Three times I have let my dog into the park for him to just bolt out the other side. He could have possibly been hit by a car. There is a lock sitting on the fence not applied to the gate, so I assume it's laziness of the crew vs...

Had a baseball tournament here and was told there was an entry fee of $5 per head (children also) so after the shock of having to pay $25 for the family to get in to see one of the other children play there came another shock of no I'll side coolers no outside drinks not even sunflower seeds or even bubblegum for that matter it's ridiculous whoever heard of such a thing at a baseball tournament. Not to mention the time he had to take off of work being on a Friday so needless to say we walked out didn't get to see the other sibling play. So we won't be back ever again. The city of Springdale need to get their act together does charging people to come to a ball game to watch their children play is absurd...
