I bought peaches at Vanzant three times this summer. The first two times, in June and July, they were juicy, almost ripe -one day on the counter and then perfect- and delicious. We could not have enough of them. The third time, in early August, I wasted $40 on two half-pecks of Georgia and July Prince. No amount of time on the counter would ripen those peaches, and they were mealy, tasteless, and dry. I think those had been in the fridge too long. They looked good, but they were not. It seems that peach experts like them would know that those peaches were subpar. At least they could warn the customer and charge less for them. The staff is family oriented and very attentive they are very knowledgeable the product and can give you detailed accounting of each and every items sold plus they offer events such as the pumpkin patch where family can come and walk around with a small wagons and choose as many pumpkins as they would like and prices are extremely reasonable I'd have to overall say this is one of the best locations to purchase your fruits and vegetables and want to keep returning time...
