Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Center & Museum — Attraction in Springer

This place is ALWAYS closed even though it says it’s open. I won’t be back but not because it’s always closed. But Because of the Ten Commandments posted outside the building. Keep your religion in your house of worship, not in a public place like this. I have to wonder if you receive state or federal monies. And if so, please remove your religious icon. We found the Santa Fe Trail Museum by accident. We were passing through Springer, coming from US 56/412 and looking for a place to have a picnic. My wife saw some picnic tables and we stopped.
