I've been coming to this park since childhood. It's a BEAUTIFUL little spot on the Lake Erie shoreline with a small playground for kids, one pavilion that you can reserve with a kitchenette and one that's available for anyone to use, a bluff that overlooks the lake, and a little creek that meanders down to the lake. Recently, my sister had her wedding here. They did their service up on the bluff and the reception down at the pavilion. The kitchenette is small but very nice with running (but not potable) water. If you're looking for a nice stop to take some beautiful photos and enjoy the beach, this is a great option off the beaten path.

Well came up here for the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse! I excited a place that was away from Erie that might be fast enough away to go somewhat unnoticed. That was not the reality but we still got there early and the plane was great! We overheard locals thinking no one would find this place as it was kind of a gem. However it was great for the viewing and family had a terrific time. We plan on visiting here later this year to enjoy Erie itself. It has great bathrooms, a nice beach, playground (though missing swings), and lots of places to cookout. An overall terrific adventure!

Beautiful park with lots of opportunities for children to explore and play. The two large pavilions allow for large groups to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. There are bathrooms that I didn't check to see if they were open during the winter, but I would assume so. There seems to be a large kitchen for food services, though I was not able to see it when I visited. It also appears that you need to reserve the kitchen area to use it. There is a public outlet outside of the closed kitchen, which is very nice, wish there were more but beggars can't be choosers. The main, and really only, complaint I have is that at the time of my visit the park driveway and under the pavilions were not plowed or shoveled. This makes it more difficult for cars, bikes, and disabled members of your community to access the park and enjoy it to its fullest extent. Also, I love raccoons so bonus points for...
