The Cedars At Carr Farm — Attraction in Springfield

You know a restaurant is good when it’s a 30 minute line out the door; but you also know it’s dysfunctional after waiting 30 mins in line and then being told that it will take another hour for your food to be ready. I ordered my food “to go” since it was such a long wait; I left and came back 1.5 hours later and it still wasn’t ready. They had mixed up my order and I had to wait even longer. Farm cart has the potential to be one of the best breakfast spots in Athens, but the long waits and unorganized staff make it such a bad customer experience that it is no longer worth going. I want to bring friends from out of town to FC, but I don’t. I understand good food takes time, but to wait 1.5 hours for a biscuit is insane. Everyone there is really nice, but please fix the holes in your system so me, and others, come back...

Choosing a venue is hard especially when there are so many to pick from in the Middle Tennessee area. However, as soon as I walked onto the property and met Nathan, I knew that this was where I wanted to get married. I could not be happier with my choice. You aren't just another bride at this venue, you are apart of their family. The Carr's were so accommodating, caring, and reliable. I loved that they provide the option for multi-day contracts, have the skeet shoot option and the new offer of the stable suite. Not to mention that my wedding coordinator said that this was one of the easiest venues to work with. I could not recommend this venue nor this family more! This venue is amazing. I participated as an actor for The Murder Mystery company and came for a Masquerade night event that the venue was doing. It was AMAZING. I was taken aback at how cool the venue was. Everything looks modern and breathtaking. The whole time I was there all I could think was how cool this would be in almost any event type. I am not into the whole "barn" aesthetic that is popular now, but this venue was able to have a hint of barn with a modern flare. Def worth a tour if you are looking...
