We came for mudapalooza for memorial weekend from Thursday-Monday; our very first time here! Weāve always wanted to come here. A mini vaca if you will. We had the best time. It rained Thursday night which was great because of the dust. I will say bring a face covering if you donāt like inhaling a lot of dust or if you have allergies!!! Great experience. Hereās a few things to look for or be aware of that is NOT stated on their site (which btw is not user friendly and for it being such an expensive nice place youād think their website would be better).
Other than the few little mishaps i have listed the park is beautiful! Lots of trails. Lots of acres. If it doesnāt rain for a while and it gets dry this place could be miserable but as Long as it has rained and is wet this park is a blast! We brought all 4 kids including our 7 month old and we had a camper spot. Thereās so many ponds or lakes around and it makes such beautiful scenery! Thereās a splash pad for kids that ours loved to go to when we werenāt riding. The bike wash is awesome! The trails are clean you can tell they take care of this place! The fireworks were beautiful! We had a very memorable time! This place is def family friendly. They have buildings for showers i think there is a charge for it tho. A store, a mechanic shop, and a gas station! There was a poker run, which was fun all of their staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a bar in the middle of one of their trails called āthe 19th holeā nothing spectacular to look at however donāt let that stop you.... we arenāt drinkers but we wanted to try something. My husband got a āwalk me home Jesusā and even tho they didnāt have pina colada on the menu the made one with a rum they had on site and whatever premix they had to make it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It was perfectly mixed, the mix to alcohol ratio was perfect! My husband absolutely loved his as well! He sipped his and mine was gone in a matter of two seconds because it was so good lol. Drinking those def made me wanna take up alcohol lol (jk). We are def going back now that we know all the rules and regulations and got all of that out of the way i feel like our next time will be that much smoother! I hope this review helps someone and at least answers some questions. I gave 5 stars because even tho there was some things we werenāt used to, it doesnāt take away from the experience or the park or the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live west of DFW and it's a 5 hour drive to get to this park. IT IS SO WORTH IT. The park is set up really well from the start. They have several attendees waiting in 4 lanes to process you into the park. Once your in you can find your reserved spot or find a place to primitive camp. The park is huge and there is plenty of room. It is not packed lo ike river run or some of the other parks we ride. The mud is plentiful and water is deep. My wife prefers to stay out of the mud and she was able to most of the time. The trails are marked really well with a color code system and mile markers- very useful. They have a wash station like no other and its completely free. They also have a general store, fuel station and a splash park for the kids- also free. Top notch and we will definitely be returning. The only downside is they are open only 6...

We had an absolute blast this past weekend at Muddy Bottoms! We brought out the Polaris Ranger Highlifter, a Can-Am Outlander, and a Can-Am Renegadeāand the trails did not disappoint. The kids had an amazing time tearing it up on the Can-Ams, while I stuck to safer terrain in the Polaris, dodging some of the deeper holes.
The trails were well-maintained, offering a perfect mix of mud, challenge, and fun. After a day of riding hard, it was awesome to have access to clean, well-equipped shower facilities and an ATV wash station that made cleanup a breeze.
This park is a must for any off-road enthusiast looking for a family-friendly spot with serious ride potential. Weāll...
